Dear colleagues!

It is a great pleasure to invite you to the sixth EFPP conference for all the three sections.

We want to stimulate thoughts about the playful and powerful relationships in the therapist’s mind - between the patient and therapist in the consulting room, and between the consulting room, the public sector, and the society.

Topics are welcome including

- Power play in the public sector

- Bringing Psychoanalytic Therapy back into the public focus

- Toys and Tools

- Boundary violations

- Psychotherapy with ethnic and social minorities

- Organisational power as a prerequisite for psychotherapy

- Cross-cultural differences

- The deprived child and the deprived therapist

- The powerless psychotherapist in the public sector

- Play and Power in partnerships

- Conflict, power and reconciliation

- Authority, playfulness and identification in the transference relationship

You are of course welcome to offer abstracts on relevant themes of your own choice!

Programme Outline
The three main lectures, one from each section will be held in the mornings followed by discussion groups.
Workshops and paper presentations will take place after lunch.
Some themes for workshops continue from previous congresses: Trauma and Violence, Transcultural Workshop, Infant Observation, Research and Training

Call for papers
We invite all colleagues to participate actively in the conference.
Abstracts (in English, French or German, not more than 250 words) are invited for paper presentations and workshops.

A paper is a longer presentation with shorter time for discussion.

A workshop is a brief presentation where the intention is to initiate active discussion with the participants on the theme.

Please indicate your preference on the abstract.

Chers Collègues !

C’est avec grand plaisir que nous vous invitons au sixième congrès EFPP rassemblant les trois sections.

Nous souhaitons inviter le thérapeute à réfléchir sur les relations de jeu et de pouvoir – entre le patient et le thérapeute dans le cabinet de consultation, et entre le cabinet de consultation, le secteur public et la société.

Thèmes proposés:

-Jeux de pouvoir dans le secteur public

-Ramener la thérapie psychanalytique sur l’avant-scéne de la société

-Jouets et outils

-Viols de frontières dans la relation thérapeutique

-Psychothérapie avec les minorités ethniques et sociales

-Pouvoir d’organisation comme préalable à une psychothérapie

-Différences interculturelles

-L’enfant carencé et le thérapeute carencé

-Le psychothérapeute impuissant dans le secteur public

-Jeu et pouvoir dans les partenariats

-Psychothérapie: jeu en puissance

-Conflit, pouvoir et réconciliation

-Autorité,ludisme et identification dans la relation de transfert

Vous pouvez naturellement proposer des résumés sur des thèmes pertinents de votre propre choix !

Déroulement du programme

Les trois conférences principales, une de chaque section, auront lieu le matin, suivies de groupes de discussion.

Les ateliers et les communications auront lieu après le déjeuner. Certains thèmes des ateliers font suite aux congrès précédents : Traumatisme et violence, Atelier interculturel, Observation du nouveau-né, Recherche et formation.

Appel de communications

Nous invitons tous les collègues à participer activement au congrès. Nous souhaitons des résumés (en anglais, français ou allemand, ne dépassant pas 250 mots) pour les communications et les ateliers.

Une communication est une présentation plus longue avec moins de temps pour la discussion.
Un atelier est une courte présentation dans le but d’initier une discussion active avec les participants sur le sujet.
